SALE?
Our plan is for the Equipment Sale to be in January on the nights of 2009 registration
and/or at the night the parents pick up player packets in April.
WHY
SHOULD I DONATE?
As most
of you already know, we are in the process of adding a softball diamond
at the West De Pere Middle school and
at Optimist Park. This will give us much more flexibility in scheduling
games and possibly hosting tournaments. While these upgrades will
be fantastic for our program, we have to realize that we still need
to raise money to meet our goals.
Most parents who
have girls in DGSA can attest to the boxes of "worn" but not "worn out" softball
equipment they have stored in their garages or basements. Parents
are also all
too familiar with the high cost of new equipment. With that in mind, we've
come up with a relatively painless way to raise much needed funds -
an Equipment Sale.
